Craft a felt masterpiece in a fun popsicle stick frame.
Preparation
Create a frame template on a piece of cardboard by cutting out a square shape with side lengths equivalent to the combined length and width of your popsicle sticks. For instance, if your sticks are 110x10mm, make the square 120x120mm. Alternatively, you can lay out the sticks on the cardboard and draw a square around them before cutting it out.
Let’s Do It
Sticky Tape Canvas:
Place wide tape over the cardboard frame template, covering the square hole to make a sticky tape canvas.
Frame it with Popsicle Sticks:
Arrange popsicle sticks on the sticky tape within the frame template, cut around the edges, and pop out the frame.
Position the Image:
Place a printed image under the frame on the non-sticky side, securing it with a couple of tape pieces.
Add Felt:
Start laying your felt. If you are using felt balls. Cut them in half and tease them apart before use.
Color the Picture:
Color your picture using the soft felt.
Optional Durability Boost:
If you want to make it indestructible, tape over the felted area with wide tape.
