AGES: 3+ ACTIVITY TIME: 10 Mins + PREP. TIME: 5 mins
A delightful and adorable activity for little ones to enjoy.
Preparation
Put decorating materials in a container and precut ones that need to be cut for easy use when decorating
Let’s Do It
Prepare the Glove:
Lay out a plastic glove and put a piece of double-sided tape on each finger.
Create Eyes:
Draw eyes on paper and cut them out.
Decorate the Glove:
Peel off the tape cover and start decorating your monster by attaching the eyes and any other decorations you want.
Sand Coating:
Once satisfied with your monster masterpieces, place the glove in a tray and sprinkle sand on them. This covers any exposed sticky tape, preventing the glove from sticking together when folded into the cup. Shake off any excess sand.
Prepare the Cup:
Poke a hole in the bottom of the paper cup for the straw, using a pencil or something similar. Be mindful not to make the hole too big; the straw should fit in it snugly.
Attach the Glove to the Cup:
Position the glove over the top of the cup and tape it around the bottom for an airtight seal. Additionally, tape around the top to prevent it from billowing out.
Boo:
It’s time to play! Insert the straw into the hole and blow to make the monster pop up. Suck to make it hide.
